Dental

The smile you've been putting off - same-day dental care that fits into your trip, not your whole year.

Modern dentistry covers everything from preventive hygiene and aesthetic veneers to implant-based tooth replacement and complex restorative work - all now performed with digital scanning, microscope-guided precision, and globally recognised implant systems that match the standards you would expect at home. For international patients, Prague has become one of Europe's most established dental destinations, offering the same materials and techniques at a fraction of the price.

At Curelia, dental care spans preventive check-ups, professional whitening, microscope-guided root canals, and zirconia crowns and ceramic veneers, through to complete implant solutions - single implants, implant-plus-crown packages, and the sinus lifts and bone augmentation that make implants possible when bone has receded. All are delivered in Prague by an English-speaking team using NeoBiotech and Straumann systems, with your full timeline coordinated across the healing period.

Preventive Dental Check-up

~30 min· €81

A diagnostic dental examination - the dentist visually examines your teeth and gums, reviews your oral health, and takes X-rays only if clinically indicated, to identify any cavities, gum issues, or other problems and decide what (if any) treatment you actually need. This is the diagnostic FIRST STEP before any definitive dental treatment - if you have a symptom like a painful tooth, you must book this check-up so the dentist can evaluate you first; a treatment plan is then built around what they find. A Preventive Dental Check-up is distinct from a Dental Hygiene cleaning (which is maintenance, not diagnosis).

Best for · evaluating tooth pain or dental issues · catching cavities & gum problems early · the diagnostic first step before any dental treatment
Includes · dentist visual exam · oral health assessment · X-rays if clinically indicated

Dental Hygiene

~45 min· €109

A standard professional cleaning - removing plaque and tartar buildup that a normal toothbrush can't reach, plus polishing for a fresh, smooth finish. This is a standalone maintenance treatment, NOT a diagnostic exam - it does not evaluate or diagnose dental problems. A sensible, low-cost add-on to almost any other dental trip, and a good stand-alone reason to combine a Prague visit with routine maintenance most patients would otherwise pay considerably more for at home. If you have a symptom (tooth pain, a problem), book the Preventive Dental Check-up first so the dentist can evaluate you before any cleaning or treatment.

Best for · routine maintenance · removing plaque & tartar · pairing with other dental work
Includes · professional cleaning · polishing

Root Canal Treatment (microscope-guided)

1–2 visits· from €328

Removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a damaged or decayed tooth's root canal system, cleans and disinfects the space, and seals it to prevent further infection - the standard way to save a tooth that would otherwise need extraction. Performed under an operating microscope, which allows far greater precision in locating and cleaning every canal (root canal systems are often more complex than they look on an X-ray), improving long-term success rates. Usually completed in one to two visits depending on the tooth and number of canals involved.

Best for · saving an infected/damaged tooth · precision canal cleaning · avoiding extraction
Includes · operating-microscope canal cleaning & disinfection · sealing · per canal phase

Teeth Whitening

1 session· from €348

A professional-strength whitening treatment, considerably more effective than over-the-counter products, using a higher-concentration whitening gel applied either in-clinic under controlled conditions or via custom take-home trays. Results are typically visible immediately after an in-clinic session, with most patients seeing several shades of improvement. Often combined with a hygiene check-up beforehand, since a clean tooth surface whitens more evenly.

Best for · brighter smile · professional-strength whitening · immediate results
Includes · professional whitening gel · in-clinic session or custom take-home trays

All-Ceramic Facet/Veneer

2 visits· from €667

A thin, custom-made ceramic shell bonded to the front surface of a tooth to correct chips, staining, gaps or uneven shape - one of the most natural-looking ways to improve a smile's appearance, since modern ceramics closely mimic the translucency of real enamel. Typically requires two visits: one for minimal tooth preparation and impressions, and a second to fit the finished, lab-made veneer. A common choice for patients wanting a broader smile makeover across several front teeth in a single trip.

Best for · chips · stains · gaps · uneven shape · natural-looking smile makeover
Includes · minimal tooth preparation · lab-made ceramic veneer · fitting (per tooth)

All-Ceramic Crown (Zirconia)

2 visits· from €667

A full-coverage cap that restores a tooth that's been significantly damaged, decayed, or weakened (often after a root canal), rebuilding its shape, strength and bite function. Zirconia crowns are prized for combining high durability with a natural, tooth-coloured appearance - a strong long-term solution rather than a cosmetic patch. As with veneers, this typically takes two visits: preparation and a temporary crown, then fitting of the final, custom-made restoration.

Best for · damaged/decayed/weakened teeth · post-root-canal protection · natural appearance
Includes · tooth preparation · temporary crown · lab-made zirconia crown fitting

All-Ceramic Implant Crown

1 visit· from €713

The visible, tooth-shaped restoration that attaches to a dental implant post once it has fully integrated with the jawbone - the final step that turns an implant into a functioning, natural-looking tooth. Custom-shaded and shaped to match surrounding teeth, so the result is indistinguishable from a natural tooth in both appearance and bite function.

Best for · completing a dental implant · natural-looking final tooth · matching surrounding teeth
Includes · custom-shaded ceramic implant crown · fitting

Dental Implant (NeoBiotech® / Straumann®)

2 trips· from €873

A titanium post surgically placed into the jawbone to permanently replace a missing tooth's root - the foundation onto which a crown is later fitted. Uses globally recognised, well-studied implant systems (NeoBiotech® or Straumann®), the same brands widely used across Western Europe, so quality and long-term reliability match what you'd expect at home. Placement itself is a straightforward outpatient procedure; the bone then needs a healing/integration period of a few months before the final crown is fitted, which is why implant cases are often planned across two trips (or one longer one, where feasible).

Best for · missing tooth root · permanent replacement · globally recognised implant brands
Includes · titanium implant placement · healing/integration period

Implant + Crown (combined)

2 trips· from €1,586

The full, start-to-finish tooth replacement package - implant placement plus the final crown - priced and planned together rather than as two separate decisions. This is the most common way international patients approach implant treatment, since it lets Curelia coordinate the full timeline (including the healing period between stages) into a clear, single plan rather than the patient having to manage two separate bookings.

Best for · complete tooth replacement · one coordinated plan · full solution
Includes · implant placement · final crown · coordinated timeline across healing

Closed Sinus Lift

Same day· €1,060

When there isn't quite enough bone height in the upper jaw to place an implant securely, a closed sinus lift gently raises the sinus floor and adds bone graft material through the same small opening used for implant placement - often done in the same sitting as the implant itself. It's the less invasive of the two sinus-lift techniques (versus the "open" approach below), suited to cases needing only a modest amount of additional bone.

Best for · modest upper-jaw bone shortfall · enabling implant placement
Includes · gentle sinus-floor elevation · bone graft via the implant opening

Bone Augmentation

Same day· €1,107

Adds bone graft material to areas of the jaw where natural bone has resorbed - often after a tooth has been missing for some time - to rebuild enough volume and density to support a future implant securely. Usually performed a few months ahead of implant placement to allow the graft to integrate, which is factored into the overall treatment timeline when Curelia plans a multi-stage implant case.

Best for · resorbed jawbone · building volume for a future implant
Includes · bone graft placement to rebuild volume/density

Open Sinus Lift

Same day· €1,504

The more extensive version of the sinus lift, used when bone volume in the upper jaw is significantly reduced. A small window is created in the side of the jawbone to directly access and lift the sinus membrane before packing in bone graft material - a more involved procedure than the closed technique, with a longer healing period (typically several months) before an implant can be placed on top of the new bone.

Best for · significantly reduced upper-jaw bone · preparing for implants
Includes · lateral window access · sinus membrane lift · bone graft placement
